Above 35 years…..will I get Canada’s student visa??
Many people are in dilemma whether they are eligible for Canada study permit or not, especially who are above 35 years…….worry not, this article will quench your all queries.
First of all, as per government of Canada website, there is no age limit mention for education. But, still, a student should be 18 years or above to apply for student visa. To secure a visa, you should present your documentation rightly. Now, let’s have a look of required documents.
- IELTS: – Valid IELTS score, as its validity period is 2 years. Check the IELTS score demand of course/educational institute, in which you are going to apply.
- DLI: – Forget not to check DLI (designated learning institution) of your applied educational institute. A designated learning institute is an educational institute that is approved by its provincial or territory ministry of education, to give admission to international students. If someone has applied in a college which is not registered under DLI, then there is a high chance of visa rejection.
- GAP: – Now, this is the main consideration point. Some people have misconception about gap. If a person is sitting idle after completion of study then it will be considered as ‘GAP’. But in case he/she is indulged into professional work relevant to his/her study, then it is acceptable.
- SOP: – As you may not present in front of embassy to justify your file. So, write SOP in such a manner that it does not left any question unanswerable. Mention your academic background along with relevant course selection and future prospects.
